Help Wanted: Co-Superpower

 The red dragon has entered the temple.  The last visit of President Hu Jintao to the White House just proves that all spot light is on China as the next super power contender.  How will the world cope with the rapid rise of China in the international arena?  With all the talk of China’s rise to superpower stardom, I cannot help not to think about what it really takes to challenge or be the United State’s co-pilot as a super power.  This is an important and serious position that requires not only political and economic clout, but everything else.  Is China really fit for the job? 

Help Wanted: Co-Superpower

Geopolitics is influx and powers are shifting once again.  The international arena is searching for the next actor to take the position as co-pilot of the United States of America in the field of political, economic, and defense in foreign affairs.  You will possess good track record in high-level diplomacy, have in depth knowledge of international institutions such as the United Nations and the International Monetary Fund.  As an excellent relationship builder and motivator of people, you will also possess a global mind frame with strong convictions in promoting civil society, rule of law, compassion and respect for human rights.  You will play a key role in building relations with rogue states.  The successful candidate will have to find an urgent solution to the current global financial crises.  

Other skills and experience:

-          Strong economic performance with stable currency and preferably low deficit.  Have an open market to foreign investment.  High GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and GNP (Gross National Product).

-          Good knowledge of nuclear energy and strong adherence to nuclear non-proliferation.  Oppose to further build up of weapons of mass destruction.  Have constructive diplomatic relations with Iran and North Korea.
 
-          Possess a powerful armed forces.  Have proven and strategic military track record with respect to the Geneva Conventions.  

-          Recognized mediator and possess overall historical and contemporary knowledge of the current conflicts in the world’s most volatile region: the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia.  

-          Ability to interact effectively across different cultures. Able to bridge the gap between the ‘haves’ and ‘have nots’.

-          Sound environmental policy and proponent of clean energy.

-          Dynamic and able to operate in a fast pace environment and respond to new international crises. 

-          Multi-lingual preferred in the official working languages of the United Nations.

You will belong to an elite membership of powerful influential actors; some are former imperialists.  Special contract offered with hardship post from time to time.  This is an indefinite duration based on your performance.   Benevolent preferred.
